  • If any novices want to go out, I will start with this ride, then do a shorter 12-15 mile recovery session.
  • Weather dependent of course. Anyone wanting a roller/turbo session, should it rain, is welcome at mine ... as long as they can tolerate my taste in 80s Metal!
  • BBC weather Sunday currently looks great for the morning!
  • Yes a few people coming back that have not ridden for a while. Can accommodate this and an additional bit for anyone wanting to do more.

    Yo Ho shipmates!

Intending on coming out on the recovery ride tomorrow as it's been a long time since a club ride.

  • I am nursing a pulled muscle

  • Now as 3 welwyn riders first claim members posting rides on forum as second claim cca riders. Where is your first loyalty guys?
  • Yo Ho mutineers.

Cap'n has pulled a fast one. Probably hurt his back opening his wallet.

As a fully paid up first claim CCA rider I'm happy to help lead the ride tomorrow but only at a very steady pace and probably with Sargeant Pain's assistance.

  • Thanks for all your kind words of sympathy and support.
Sonic and others due to arrive Sunday.

Looks like second claim not encouraged at CCA any more.
    ( unlike the last 17 years )
Must be lots of new "rules " I guess.
Luckily Pirates do not follow them.

Should be back on deck next week
I am sure lots of drivel to follow.

  • Yo Ho Desmonds

Fully inclusive ride tomorrow. All welcome as usual. Just bring a sense of humour, leave your everyday worries behind and enjoy riding your bike.

    Flailing Drivel.
  • Got better than a two two myself
Would say what but that would be publishing personal info
    Not the done thing really.

I assume all other second claim will be " named and shamed on the forum "
    How dare they !
  • A voice from the far north! Will you be joining us on any rides GG? Bit of a commute I guess. Why did you move so far away from the club and area that you're so loyal to?
  • touchy people. :-)
Great cycling here for all club members as you would know if you visited. Free accommodation also.
Guess I'm just tired of seeing the gibberish spouted and hope Welwyn enjoy it on their forum.
  • Andy. I don't think I need to tell other club members about my club loyalty, service, contribution and don't think you are anyone to berate me. Enjoy track.
  • Tell us again why you moved so far away?
  • Do they like touchy up North ?
Or are they feed up already.

But then Northern folk are less polite about that sort of thing.
  • Yes... 'touchy'. Touchy feely? Too much Touchy?
  • Touché
  • Hope you had a good ride guys
    See you next week
