Your final chance of the summer to go from the chaingang to the Club night at the Three Tuns. Looks like it's warm and winds light - so av it. I hope to be at Steeple for the start. Bring lights.

Ashwell, Three Tuns 7.30pm: departure/warm-up.
Steeple Morden, Waggon pub 7.35pm approx: for the start.

Keep it smooth. No surging or breaking off the front. If you dropped: create a new chain, TTT with others or solo it.

    Just 3 out last night on a humid evening, with me, Adam L and Dave W. Summer hols possibly biting into people's evenings.

    Dave got a reet good workout; pelting it up to the start at 20mph+ from his house, as running late.

    Apparently we were at 270 watts. Well above a 4th Cat crit or so in power, apparently.

    Lap 1: 23.3mph
    Lap 2: 23.5mph 2-up TT

    Maybe we run next week's chain gang at an all-inclusive pace to see if we can pick up on numbers? Maybe a 'no rider dropped' policy and see how fast we can get it? For 2 laps anyway.

    And then a third lap at max for anyone who wants it - and has lights... Indeed, 'Cross is coming and the dark clouds are gathering.

    what a depressing statement! This should be the height of summer! For at least 6 more weeks!

    Sounds like a good chainy. Dave's strava message was funny. good effort
