Welcome to the forum
Sunday 12th 11.30 hangover ride
In two minds at the moment
Out Saturday night so NOT riding Sunday 09.30. ( that’s out out )
However Sat looks very wet and Sunday much better, cold but dry and sunny.
Hence probably ride Sunday but about 11am.
Let me know if you fancy it and can arrange, but do not want to get tied to a time if no one else fancies it.
So....
Not riding 09.30
Let me know if want to ride late Sunday morning. Probably 20- 25 miles to turn the legs.
Back to normal week after.

Hangover ride 11.30
Slow, flat but refreshing

Anybody partaking of the Dutchman's largesse tonight is unlikely to be able to see a bike tomorrow, let alone ride one. Well, you're only 52 once aren't you?
Already Flying Dutchman
Wine is magnificent and vintage port to come.
I will not be there the night will be long.
See you all next week
Adrift on the high seas

Let you know in the morning
See you 11.30
Probably wimpole and back

Grog was plentiful but insufficient to shipwreck a determined Cap'n, who, despite listing towards the (vintage) port, clung on masterfully in my slipstream, with all sheets to the wind. Sonic an impartial observer.
Roles reversed today out on the bikes. Cap'n steamed ahead and I held on grimly into a chilly 20mph Nor' Westerly. Dead ahead slow up to to Wrestingworth water tower then full speed ahead on the return, with all sails aloft down Northfields.
Just 17 miles @15.4mph, which was enough in the lovely sunshine to clear some sore heads.
Now home and also heading back to the port.
Fonseca Dutchman
Refreshing ride today
Back to 09.30 next week.
Seems everyone wants to sail alongside the pirates :-)
Captain P
Agreed Cap'n. We've always been popular Pirates. Maybe they'll have a go at rhyming as well?!
Forgery Dutchman.
All hands on deck at dawn
Sailing to sadder shores
Your port in my heavy storms
Harbours the blackest thoughts
I'm at sea again
And now your hurricanes
Have brought down
This ocean rain
To bathe me again
My ship's a sail
Can you hear its tender frame
Screaming from beneath the waves
Screaming from beneath the waves...
Echo and the Dutchman
