Welcome to the forum

It's official, we won the league!

After many years of coming second we finally claimed the team prize in the Eastern League. Quite an achievement for a village club.
Well done to all the brilliant Cx ers and especially the podium regulars.

  • Brilliant news. I have been worried that we may have got piped at the post. Well done CCA.

Was thinking of you all today while we were sitting having dinner at the TT prize giving.
    How was the racing?
  • A fantastic team effort from everyone involved. I think our main points scorers were Louis Oppen, Adam Lightfoot, Harley Pell, Jackie Field, Iestyn Hill, Gethin Hill and Ethan Storti. However they were all assisted by other team members pushing rivals further down the places, driving each other on in training and helpers in the pits.

CCA should be really proud of this result, we have beaten some large and well established clubs to win this.

Prize giving is after the racing at Milton next Sunday. Lets try and have as many there as possible and get a team photo done. There will be quite a few CCA individual medal winners as well.
  • A very delightful part of racing CX in the Eastern League is being part of such an exceptional team. Winning the Team prize is shining stone on this, but the crown is the team. Training sessions, which are not a list of instruction but a real collaboration and exchange of ideas on how to raise our game. Supporting one another with tyres, glue, bikes, chains, kit, lifts, food, tactics and 'the bad times'.

A heartfelt thanks to one and all!
  • Well done everyone. Fantastic reward for you all for all that hardwork (and mud and stuff)
  • More congratulations! ...amazing...what is happening to this club?!!!
