    Hi all

    The Club dinner is two weeks away.

    We are currently about 10 people, at least, short of making the evening worthwhile.

    So, if you haven't yet placed your name[s] and menu choice[s] on to the list, please do so soon. I really need to know final numbers by next week.

    Here's the room we'll be in. We won't have the fancy wedding decor, but - health & safety fans - we will have the prominent fire door complete with regulatory signage.

    If that won't tempt you, remember: 3-course meal, wine, tea and coffee, £30. Not bad, eh.
  • A reminder... I soon need to let the pub know how many are coming to the Club Dinner. I expect we'll kick off from around 7pm and sit down around 8pm.

    Starter
    S1. Dipping Bread & Olives, Ciabatta toasted bread with Olive oil and balsamic vinegar
    S2. King Prawn and Smoked Salmon Salad with red onion salsa
    S3. Paté served with rustic bread and butter

    Mains
    M1. Slow Cooked Lamb Shank on mash potatoes, green beans and petit pois with minted gravy
    M2. Goats Cheese & Red Onion Tart with buttered new potatoes and green beans (V)
    M3. Pan Seared Salmon with crushed garlic new potatoes, green beans and white wine sauce

    Puddings
    P1. White Chocolate and Strawberry Cheesecake served with cream
    P2. Eton Mess served with fresh strawberries and cream
    P3. Chocolate Brownie served with vanilla ice cream
