  • I'm up for this. I've done these the last couple of years now and always find it a good test early on in the season.
  • I and VCC Keith are doing this Sunday- not planning to do 15mph but will go out at 8am.
  • Taff, are you planning on riding this event Sunday?
would have tagged along with jezz but not sure l would make the 8.00 start

Info from Beds Road CC below. I will try and get to the full 56-mile version, 17mph+ start at 9.30am. Note: they rarely start at the start time and so if I go I will try and get there earlier.

The BRCC Reliability Rides will be held on Sunday 4th & 18th Feb 2018
These are BRCC's own Sportive Rides with a choice of routes and Soup and drinks at our clubhouse

Maps & Downloadable routes will be provided.

    Setup or join a group:
    >> 08:30 for those averaging less than 15mph on the 56 mile route
    >> 09:00 for 15 - 17mph on the 56 mile route
    >> 09:30 for everyone else on the 56 mile route
    >> 10:30 for those doing the 21 mile route
The aim is we all get back to the clubhouse around the same time for soup and rolls.

Cost is £4 for BRCC members, £5 for non-members.
  • I'm planning to do the 56 mile route. Hoping to get there for 9 to 9.15.
  • Certainly well organised and friendly rides. I've always wondered why a club of CCA's size and abilities doesn't organise it's own. After all many of you like them, the club has a wealth of good riders, organisers, and it would bring money into CCA's coffers and support our club and its rides. Just a thought. Happy cycling everyone.
  • I’m in but martin is right. Aim to roll out from 9am. Fast ones will likely be out of the stocks by 9.15am. Then save your powder. It cranks up, up the drags half way round.
    Aiming to be there 8.30am
  • @Taff @BOB WRIGHT I am revising our start time to 8:30 mainly because to give me half a chance of holding on when the peleton piles past. If either of you are up for that then will see you there.
  • aiming to make the 8.30 start then, debating between riding or driving over from Biggles
as unsure of weather, any more takers?
  • Ok Bob. Will see you at BRCC Club
  • any takers for this Sunday 18th ?
  • Sorry bob. Club ride for me tomorrow
  • just done Saturday ride with two gears after rear mech cable snapped on the way over
if l get it fixed might join you tomorrow
