Welcome to the forum
Chaingang, 17 April 2018, 7.30pm
Reminder... First chaingang of the summer this Tues, 17 April.
Some set off from 3 Tuns, 7.30pm. Meeting others at Steeple Morden church/Wagon & Horses junction around 7.35pm. That's where I'll likely be.
- Massively improve your fitness and riding strength threshold.
- Hone your group riding skills.
- Go faster than you ever could on your own (don't be daunted by the high average speeds).
- Ride with others you don't normally ride with. All welcome: CCA or not.
- Get more from the summer. Forecast is warm and quite breezy from the south.
Bring lights. Though there's enough daylight for 2 laps at the mo, 9 miles per lap.

Maybe there's a few out there who have never tried it but are curious enough to have a go...? Now's the time: go for it.
See you later - I'll be loitering around Steeple Morden, 7.35pm.
We were fortunate to have not one, but two ladies team riders turn up and join in... Sophie Lewis from Team OnForm, and Harley Pell from LIV AWOL. How about that? ;-)
Good to catch up with Nat, Carmelo and Steve L too.
We stuck together all the way, and honed our smooth rotating on/off the front. All good.
Lap 1, 22.2mph. Lap 2, 21.1mph.
