Eastern league Rd 1 results

First round of the Eastern League Cross series took place at Langdon hills today. The course was identical to last year, 3 killer climbs and some fast descending, as each lap passed and confidence grew I was able to take most of the corners without braking. I caught Iain on the final lap but he found an extra gear and I couldn’t respond. I did have to put in a sprint finish to keep my position and in doing so managed to nick an extra place on the line. Best result for me by a long way today
