A massive turn out from CCA for the second round at Chelmsford. I wasn’t able to repeat last weeks efforts, it was a flatter course compared to last week with several offs for steps and worlds highest hurdles. Amazing effort from Ben considering he only had a few hours sleep and no sighting lap. Vince going really well in the V50 using Mark’s wheel until the last lap.

Entry for the Ashwell race is now open, loads of advice available on here if you are thinking of giving it a go. Ground is still very dry and the racing is fast, perfect time to try before it gets too cold and muddy.

Thanks for posting this Dan. My first of the season and easy to forget how relentless CX races are. That course had no place to take it easy - and those hurdles and stairs!!!!!
Great fun though and really great turn out from CCA X team. Very sociable.

After only ever having a road bike, I bought a CX bike on eBay recently. Great to read these write ups!
