Muddy Monsters 2018-19
Hello budding young cyclists...
The Muddy Monsters winter cycling race series is soon to begin. With a focus for new and novice young cyclists (we've seen 3 year olds before), each of the six events will have three races on grass and off-road terrain: a sprint race, a longer endurance race, and a handicap race. Races are run to age categories. Each event goes on for a couple of hours.
They are competitive, but the emphasis is really on fun and encouragement.
A bike in good working order, with two working brakes and a helmet are essentials. Gloves, shoes with no loose laces and warm clothes are recommended!
You will be able to book online or pay £4 on the day.
The dates will shortly be confirmed, but here are the provisional Saturdays and locations. Note: Ashwell are in the Muddy Monsters Herts & Beds region.
Confirmed dates and times will follow really soon. Helpers to help run the day are always welcome.
