Saturday 24th November 9.30am club ride

edited November 2018 in Club runs
After a bit of a chilly week, looks like tomorrow is going to mild(ish). As it's November though we need to do a bit of work to keep warm, so how about something slightly more hilly than last weeks pan-flat blast:

Ashwell-Therfield-Reed-Barkway-Nuthamstead-Ansty-Measden-Langley-Dudenhoe End-Elmdon-Shepreth-Meldreth-Bassingbourn-Ashwell (41 miles)

Something a bit like this, but obviously with a few deviations thrown in here and there for good measure ;)

See you in the morning !

Ten of us out this morning for a ride of three thirds. First third - hilly & wet as we found the cloud base in the Royston alps. Second third was also hilly and mysterious as Richard lead us around some cracking new (to me anyway) lanes around the back of Elmdon. Last third was downhill with a lovely tailwind for the flat return through Shrepth and Bassingbourn.

So it was indeed the route above with many deviations.

Final tally was 46 @ 16. Thanks all for a great morning. Great fun on a damp & chilly November morning :)
