Annual get together/prize giving - any plans ?
Hi,
Haven't heard anything about the annual get together/social/prizegiving/quiz extravaganza this year. Just wondering whether there are any plans or suggested dates - would be a shame if it didn't go ahead.
Just a suggestion but perhaps to make it more appealing to all maybe there could be a series of informal/silly awards such as mileage, crazy mechanical, best crash, fashion, recognising volunteers etc and perhaps a tacky raffle?

Hi all... The annual prize giving is scheduled for Saturday 2nd March 2019. Put the date in the diary. The current plan is to combine senior and youth awards. So it will likely start a bit earlier and be an informal food offer as opposed to a dinner. Like a hog roast. But tbc.
Venue is possibly Bushel & Strike in Ashwell. TBC.
For those wanting to stay longer, we can run a pub quiz.
If you have a trophy to return, I can collect any Monday evening at the Ashwell URC. Any time between 8.30pm-9.30pm as that’s when rollers is on.
If anyone wants to nominate anyone for a silly prize or noteworthy achievement that’s not on the current list of awards, DM me or a committee member and we will give them a shout out.
