This turned out to be a beautiful day for a bike ride, not a thundery shower to be seen. What with it being the start of the summer holidays and the Interclub time trial tomorrow we were somewhat thin on the ground.
Emma Pell and I set off for a pre-race Tootle, just enough to spin the legs but definitely keeping the powder dry - Emma for the Sleaford grass track meet tomorrow and me for a road race up in Oxfordshire. We were joined by Mike, Brian and Jason until Cromer, where we peeled off towards Weston and they carried on south.
We certainly enjoyed the tailwind up and over the Bygrave hills, finishing on 19 miles at 14mph.
