Wheels: Mavic Ksyrium Pro UST Tubeless Wheel set with Yksion Pro tubeless 700 x 25c tyres.
The Ksyrium Pro UST delivers great comfort and performance, when combined with a Yksion Pro UST tyre there is a decrease in rolling resistance of 15 percent the equivalent of running a tyre 15 PSI lower. The hubs have been redesigned to be lighter weight and feature Mavic’s instant drive 360 giving fast acceleration made possible by the 40 teeth dual ratchet system also helping to climb. The rear hubs are compatible with Shimano or Campagnolo 11 speed cassettes and can be converted to XD-R with an optional hub body available separately. Along with new auto adjusting sealed bearing for better smoothness and efficiency.
The wheelset is laced with Zircal spokes that are lighter and stronger than stainless steel spokes. The front wheel is laced with 18 spokes in radial pattern. The rear wheel is laced 24 spokes in a Iso-pulse. pattern. The rims braking surface is CNC machined to ensure consistent braking. The rim also uses Mavic’s fore technology the increases rim stiffness by 20 percent and makes going tubeless easier without the need of rim tape. Each rim uses the right amount of material to maintain optimum strength and stiffness while weighting 400g. Keeping wheelset weight to 1420g.
