Planning to do a off-road loop from Ashwell on Sunday, route below with probably a coffee stop at Shuttleworth. I will probably be on my 26” hardtail MTB, the route is ok for a Cross bike.

    Great fun today. Don’t believe Vince when he says ‘He doesn’t go well in the mud on his bike!’ Plenty of mud, good for the skin right?

    My Garmin stats were 56.2km, ave speed 21.9km/h, 254m Gain. Strong riding all round.

    It was good fun and both tiring and refreshing. Managed to do the house chores without too many coffees too.
