CC Ashwell - Social, Awards, Dinner & Quiz. Sat 29 February 2020
Hi all
Calling all CCA members, family and friends. Come along to our annual dinner on Saturday 29th February at the Three Horseshoes pub in Norton, edge of Letchworth, near Bickerdikes.
Saturday 29 February 2020
CC Ashwell, Awards, Dinner, Quiz
Three Horseshoes (’School Room’ function room), Norton
https://www.thethreehorseshoesatnorton.co.uk/
Our annual social gathering is in part an opportunity to hand out the various trophies for the season 2019-20, as well as a being a good social to let CCA members and friends meet up. Husbands, wives, friends, family: all welcome.
Numbers have dwindled over the years. Let's make a special effort to make 2020 a bumper turnout.
Like last year, we are joining up the Youth and Senior trophy presentations, as well as making the evening a little earlier in the hope that some Youth can join some or all of the evening. It will be nice to connect different parts of the club together and get to know each other more.
6.00pm: Our function room opens.
6.30pm: Awards and trophies
7.00pm: Food is served
8-9pm approx: Quiz
There is NO CHARGE to attend. And you can simply ORDER WHAT YOU LIKE from the menu - if anything at all.
Please let me know any menu choices here in advance, and I will submit the order on Monday 24th February so they can prepare things so we kind of eat together.
If you want to make a night of it and hang around for the quiz, it’s quite silly and just a bit of fun. Cycling knowledge not required!

See you there!

If it's not too late could I have the horse shoe burger please.
If anyone else wants to come along and wants to order food, probably easiest to simply email Kat at the pub directly and say you are adding to the Cycling Club Saturday evening 29th Feb, in the School Room.

The Three Horseshoes have reminded us that the food can't all be served all at once - so it will be just coming out as and when.
thanks
Martin
Apologies for being cr*p and not responding/ordering until now. I'll be there - looking forward to it! Have e-mailed my request to the pub direct.
Cheers.
