weds ride 9th june

the forecast rain didnt materialise, apart from a few drops at the start. a pleasant warm morning, though bit of a breeze so not as hot as it has been. 7 riders out. got a good view of the massive tented city near chrishall that is apparently Cereals 2010, with a few helicoptors buzzing farmers in and out... guess theres a bit of money in producing our daily corn flakes and shredded wheat. dodged the traffic restrictions out to duxford and harston and back over chappel hill. i split off at bassingborun and clocked 41 miles at 17.3. others will have gone a bit further as were heading off in wendy direction.

    I retract the last comment, having just read another topic I see there are some people missing a sense of humour in the club. Too those people, I DID NOT REALLY FLY IN TO CERIALS IN A HELICOPTER
