Saturday 28th August - South Downs Way

Putting this out early.

Subject to favourable weather the plan is to re-ride the South Downs Way, but in a single day.

Early train down to Winchester, ride the SDW and train back from Eastbourne.

5 of us rode it in June over two days on mix of MTB's and gravel with 40mm tyres.

    I'd love to do this, and technically I'll be back on the bike (just!) by then, but I think it might be pushing it as an early ride... Enjoy!

    Pidcock was on the bike after 6 days!!! You could ride part way and jump on a train at Amberley, it would be just short of 80km.

    Yeah, but I'm pretty much twice his age, and don't have a team of Ineos doctors following me round...! I do like the idea of this, though, so there may be a distant possibility...
