No Eastern Region CX this weekend so I thought people might be interested in an off road club run. Based on an incredible route devised by Lillie it tackles the Barton Hills from all sides. Quite long at 47miles, but worth it. Weather forecast is 'reasonable' at present.

Includes the infamous climb 'The Baulk'. (Time to beat 1:25)

Will suit MTB or CX bikes.

    6 out this morning. Daniel and Mark leaving from Ashwell and collecting Jenny and Dave in Baldock then Lillie and Adam in Ickelford with minimal fuss due to the magic of Garmin Live Track.

    Many ascents of the Barton Hills with consequential fast decents. Much build up for the famous Baulk climb. A new club record was set with Lillie posting 1:37 for the women and Adam 1:15 for the men. (Not sure of my time, but my legs hurt now).

    Nice to meet up with the roadies at the start.
