a cold start, then the sun came out and turned into a lovely if blustery morning. 44 miles at 17.5 mph, with bobs route making the best of the wind, lots of long fast bits heading back in from the east. gamlingay, bourn, toft, chapel hill, orwell, bassingborun and back round the chain gang circuit. 9 riders, plus just missed josh at the start who went off to do hill repeats instead. no punctures, no cav crash in the sprint either, which i think scouse chris took easily, i was hiding at the back and couldnt really see properly.
