If the forecast is right, going to be another lovely mild autumn day tomorrow 
How about we have a bit of a lumpy start and then a flat run to home ? Something a bit like this:

Ashwell-Therfield- Barkway-Meesden-Arkensden-Strethall-Fowlemere-Meldreth-Bassingbourn-Ashwell (46 miles if we skip the station road loop at the end, 48 if we include it)
As we are going past the door, we can do stop at El Cafecito in Fowlmere if we are in need of a caffeine/cake stop
