Sunday 4th July - Therfield Heath Alps & Weston Pyrenees
5 out on this 'Robbie' training special - myself, Adam H, Malcolm, Iain and Martin (1st time out with the club). We did two loops of the Therfield 'M' then similar to last week, off to Weston via Sandon & Wallington... a fantastic descent into Baldock from Wallington, Malcolm & Adam peeled off and the remaining three off to Gravely via Weston. A good ride, bit windy, hopefully all enjoyed it, c 3600 ft of climbing & 50 miles. New man Martin didn't seem to notice the hills??? Could be a challenger for Alex here? Conquered the Tourmalet at 14!!! :-)
