Weds 7/7 ride
good swift ride on flattish roads despite the wind. rain held off, it was a bit muggy and very windy. 9 riders out. 41 miles at 18.0 mph. out towards cambridge to newton and duxford. no punctures or anything like that. at the end of the stage scouse chris and dave swaine contested the sprint, dave won. the rest of us refused to sprint on the grounds that it had been a bit windy and you cant really expect us to enjoy riding our bikes when its windy can you. see what that big swiss pansy has started....
