Saturday ride on a Sunday morning(11th July)

Hello all,

As I'm helping out at the grass track on Saturday, I'm going to do a 'Saturday club ride' on Sunday morning.

Here is the route. Club run pace (15-16mph) and meeting at 9am at the cemetery.

    An excellent ride this morning for the combined Saturday/Sunday club run.

    Sixteen of us on the ride with a fast start on the flat run to Folwmere before tackling some tasty hills as we crossed the border into Essex. Having taking the king of the mountains jersey, I tried to get a steal on the green points jersey too by pre-empting the final sprint on the fast run-in down the Wallington road to the A505. My plan failed though, as I was swiftly overtaken by the charging peleton - who promptly disapeared into the distance !! It also means I have no idea who won either !

    Stats for the ride were 38miles @ 16mph.
