Forecast is looking glorious for tomorrow - bright sunshine, warm and light winds - perfect !

As it's an easterly wind lets head that way first. I've done a bit of a modification of the Essex mashup route so we might get a few roads around Stansted/Elsenham that we have not been on before.....

Ashwell-Sandon-Buntingford-Wydial-Great Hornmead-Pelhams-Maggots End-Manuden-Standsted Mountfitchet-Ugley-Rickling-Dudenhoe End-Great Chishill-Barkway-Therfield-Ashwell (54 miles)

Unfortunately we are a bit low on cafe's on this route, so if anybody knows of a good one we can stop at let me know ! Otherwise we are going old school banana break in a suitably scenic lay-by !!

More family stuff tomorrow, so need to be back very early. Plan A is to cycle over and the peel off, probably at Buntingford.

I'll have to start late tomorrow, I may try to join the route and cycle in the opposite direction and see whether we meet....what could possibly be go wrong?..😅

I am out tomorrow. Poppies Barn in Clavering might be worth a look. I have only ridden past it. Slight detour, Rickling, Clavering, Poppies, then Langley Upper Green, Duddenhoe End.

The Buntingford Coffee Shop on the High Street is good. Just a short diversion for you. Poppy's Barn is excellent with a view of the fields and a great welcome from the dogs.

Club ride has been denied coffee several times at Poppies barn. Maybe it's just a Saturday thing ??
