2nd Round of InterClub TT Competition - Hitchin Nomad's 30 mile TT (slightly) hilly - 25th June
With huge apologies to those not already on the TT WhatsApp group, this a belated announcement specific to this coming Sunday's event, which is the running of the Interclub 30 mile time trial as part of the 2023 Inter Club series. However, if you're new to this and want to know what the Interclub series is all about, please see the "sticky" announcement at the top of the Forum here.
In summary: the race is this Sunday 25th June on a so-called "sporting" course - meaning it has a few hills in it. TT bikes are not a particular advantage on this course, so if you've "only" got a road bike, that's not a disadvantage.
If you follow the links in the "sticky" announcement, you'll find the route and a entry page. Entry deadline is this Wednesday 21st June. Once entered, you also need to sign-on on the day, which is at the Spoke cycling cafe in Codicote and the start is nearby. First rider off is at 08.01, sign on from 7.15. You'll need a helmet and working front and rear lights.
At race time this Sunday, the weather is predicted to be sunny, feeling like 21 Celsius with light winds from the South South East.
Any questions, please shout.
