No Stef out today to write up this eventful ride, but it shouldn't go unrecorded!
Just 6 riders out for a ride through Wrestlingworth, Potton, the fringes of Gamlingay, Eynesbury, Abbotsley, Gransdens, down Croydon Hill and aborted attempt to get down the road to Shingay (closed and we were sent back the way we came!), then up the hill to join the 10 route down Northfields back to Ashwell.
38 miles at an average speed of 17 mph in dry, breezy, conditions, sounds pleasant enough; but a a 20 minute stop to search for Bob's lost tooth (crown) near the water-tower above Wrestlingworth!! and a slightly longer break for a puncture repair in Little Gransden (was it 4 tubes you fitted Mike?) made it a longer ride than usual!
I still enjoyed it though and 'chapeau' to Chris for his sterling work at the front into the wind over the last few miles.
