Racing at Hogg Hill 21/8/10
The Maynard's next race will be at Hogg Hill on Saturday 21/8/10.
The Youth A,B race starts at 10.15am and is approx. 10miles. Entries on the line are £5.00
The Youth C,D race starts at 11.15am and is approx. 7 miles. Entries on the line are £2.00
I usually aim to be there an hour before to allow for signing on, equipment checks and warm up.
This is the Eastern Area Youth Road Championship and there is also some kind of Omnium taking place, I'm not sure what this involves but usually a sprint and points race as well as the races themselves.
There is also racing for Cat3,4's and a Go-Race event for novices who haven't got a race licence. I might even do this one myself!
I am happy to advise on location, gearing, signing on etc. The usual health warning, I am not a coach, just an enthusiastic parent and child welfare officer for the club.

I know about I.T. but not used to having to look at 'old stuff' ;)
Ed is sprint training this weekend so won't be able to make it unfortunately.
