Saturday Ride: 30th August
From feast to famine. Only four of us out this week compared to 13 the previous week.
John D led Chris, Jo & me (Alison) on the what is a shortened version of the two bridges ride. (Sutton, Deepdale, Sandy,Old Warden, M & B Growers, Langford, Hinxworth, Ashwell).
We did 30 miles at a steady pace of 14 mph with a nasty head wind on the way back all the way up from Langford.
This time, unlike last week, we crossed the A1 by the underpass route rather than going across the Sandy roundabout.
