Looking at the weather it’s highly likely I’m not going to make it back from work on the bike without getting soaked. Sadly I’m going to bow out this evening, sorry for being so uninspiring.

the forecast let us down - it was meant to dry up this afternoon!

I didn't make it down due to the rain in Hitchin at 6:30 - 7pm. Looks like it cleared a bit later. Maybe some Ashwell locals with less distance to travel made it out.

it actually stopped at 7 and by 7.30 it was sunny......anyone wanting to be a weather forecaster should have their heads examined.....I was there at 7 just in case any came but was no one.....
