CC Ashwell one two @ Spalding Grass Track

Ed Goater & Andrew Leverton, representing CC Ashwell Youth Section, travelled to Spalding GrassTrack in Lincolshire on Saturday.

In a strong field they took the first two places in the omnium with Andrew winning every round!

For second place, Ed was presented with a handlebar stem, for first, Andrew claimed a Harry Web frame!!

It's been great this summer to see the blue shirts of Ashwell Youth not only entering events but getting good results across the age groups. Well done to all the members and thanks to the coaches & helpers that have made the youth section such a great success!

    exciting times for the club..great results Andrew and Ed....we are seeing the rise of a really talented youth section and they will migrate into racing and swelling the adult club rides eventually....Some are already beginning to ride the legs off me so look out .....maybe they will act as a catalyst for some of our fitter adult riders to join Carmelo,Trahern,Phil,Tim H. and others in their racing exploits.
