Cycling in Dublin

I’m off to Dublin this summer for a bit of work and going to take my bike out.

Does anybody have any advice? Ryanair fly from Luton but cost £60 extra each way for a bike box to be stuck on the plane. Contemplating this as I’d love to be on my bike, but aware that I could hire one. Has anybody hired a bike in Dublin before?

I know it’s a bit random, but you don’t know till you ask...
