Let's stick to 9.30 - as John says 30 mins won't make much of a difference
-
Ooooh that is radical - what time were you thinking of ?
-
I can help with Timekeeping/marshalling tomorrow.

Never been to Stewartby - I'm lost for words !! Adam, Great lane - never heard of it ??

Well spotted Alan ! Good news about the move, enjoy the packing !!

Very strange that you are getting a blank page Tim. It’s called Ashwell-Clavering-Ashwell and it’s probably on your Garmin already

I spent many happy Saturday morning club rides with John chatting about all the vintage machines he had tracked down restored. Don't think I known anybody else with so many red bikes or so many gadgets/tools to fix almost anything! My best memory of…

Yep sure thing HJB, everybody is welcome on the club runs I'd check the forum early doors though, as if the weather is looking too wet then it might be a morning when everybody will be on Zwift instead
-
Yep, def 9.30 (or normally a few mins after)
-
Bumper turnout yesterday for the Sat club ride - think there was 14 of us at the Tuns !! Split into two groups with a bit of mixing and matching until a faster group stretched their legs from Mogahanger. The remaining 9 of us wizzed around the fine l…

will be great to have you join tomorrow John - see you then !

Hi Julian. Sat club ride is doing this route tomorrow. Leaving from the Tuns at just after 9.30am and probably will be about 16avg Ashwell-Bassingbourn-Fowlmere-Elmdon-Ickleton-Littlebury-Askensden-Langley-Barley-Reed-Therfield-Ashwell (51 miles) h…

There is a good short cut in Watton at Stone to Whempstead - up Mill Lane, which is a dead end to cars but a nicely tarmacked cycle track to the A602 then straight across to the Whempstead/Dane End cross roads.
-
OK, looks like there is some pretty heavy rain in the next hour, so how about we push back the start to 10.30 and go north not south ?.

Just remembered that the Sacombe to Dane End road is shut, with a silly diversion down a mountain bike track ! So here is an alternative version going through Wadesmill & back into Sacombe over Hertfordshire's most badly tarmacked hill !! http…

Seven of us out yesterday for super flat spin around Cambridge. This route really is about as flat as you can get around here & pretty much the only climb was the M11 flyover just outside Barton!! Superb and massive cake in the Stove at Bourn, w…

Sorry Tim, forget to set my alarm so wasn't up in time this morning to join you. Hope you had a good spin
-
Well, even if I do say so myself the route on Saturday was a bit of a triumph & definitely one to do again. Nice start on some familiar roads before some cracking, pretty empty and pothole free lanes around Manuden and Rickling Green. Even manag…

Sounds good, Martin

Yep, it was cold ! Myself and Brendan were wrapped up like it was midwinter on the finish line & could have done with a pair of winter gloves Chapeau indeed to all the riders that did last nights time trial, conditions were more like a hard ri…
