If it's the same route as last year, there is a way to cut off 10 miles to make it just under 50 miles; for those up against time but wanting to join in the ride with Bob. Simply break off at Buntingford to Sandon.

I think this thread could run and run - so have created a dedicated 'Tuesday training' category to make forum discussion easier.
Use it for all forum chat threads relating to what will hopefully become a great addition to the cycling week.
Robbie's in. Cool. As are two others - so there's the gruppetto sorted. Skelders is looking good for it too. There'll be a few driving up and back on the day so no need for too much disruption. You'd be back home 5-6pm ish?
1,500 riders …The menu for you all to choose from, before the evening, is downloadable here. Good choices!

Well done Mark and all the volunteers - and the CCA riders!Aye - outside the garage, 8am.
By the way all - justgiving.com is great for easy donating if you're ever doing a charity ride or somesuch - recommended.
MartinWell done Adam - I've just been reading your Twitter. Flipping 'eck! Good to see a CCA jersey on top of the Alps. Brings a tear to the eye...
Can you donate online? If so, stick the link here eh?

Well done all!Hi James
I might be able to do this. Reckon it would be a 5.45am latest kick off at Ashwell P.O. to ensure we get to Finsbury Park for 8am?
For those not aware of Cycle Fridays;
http://www.tfl.gov.uk/roadusers/cycling/…Richard has booked 10 rooms in the Hotel Pax in Diksmuide - nice town a few miles north from Ypres. 70 euros [£60] per night inc breakfast - well done Richard.

well done allThe slow guy has just called in sick today [funny that...], so the ride back won't be as slow as first thought...Me and a few work mates are setting off from Clerkenwell back to Ashwell this evening - 6pm. Might be a bit slow with one or two off the pace. Adam - if you want to join this pace, tap in postcode EC1R 0JY into Google Maps, it's a small cul de sac an…Great. Yeh - 5.45am - at Ashwell PO.And £20 from me too Geoff.
Those skin coloured cycle suits sound impressive - they're not to be sniffed at...Yep - and riding back too. This fine weather [and sunlight and warmth at 5.45am start from Ashwell] is too good to miss. Probably with a few work mates for company on the return journey, leaving at 6pm from around Islington.
