Sounds like the ultimate Tuesday night ride - Omloop St Edmunds! Bring it on - I'm charging my lights already... JRVM

Good ride tonight. I made it a 1:02 lap, which is quick but more manageable than last weeks speeds.. 7 out and 43% of the peleton shared the same surname. What are the chances of that? As promised no-one got left behind. Until next week JRVM

Thanks to Luke and Pete Green for pacing us all the way round - nice change to ride the 2 bridge route the other way round. Is it really not a sprint if you stay in the saddle?? http://velonews.competitor.com/2012/04/race-report/wiggins-wins-tour-de…

#BEASTED Good ride tonight 7 out, nice and dry. Although that said, I was having a bad one - beer at the end helped but only just stopped feeling sick now at 10pm - note to self DON'T EAT HUGE PORTION OF CHILLI BEFORE RIDING.... Until next week J…

Good ride tonight, no wind and nice and dry. 4 out Dave H, Nathaniel, John FD & myself. Just about recovered from the beasting by Nathaniel & Dave - Going well lads. Some of the lanes on the second half are just a blur of dust, blinking red …

This week we will go for a TUESDAY ride around the Letchworth greenway. We will leave on time so as not to leave anyone standing around in the cold. Plan is to do 1 lap anticlockwise in around 1h - 1h10. Based on our speed last year, this means that …

Smaller turnout today, so no takers for a shorter/slower ride and I tagged onto Robbie and crew. We whizzed past the cafe at Whitwell - I'm sure I could hear the cakes calling. Happy to navigate a ride over the autumn winter months - and with a bit …

Thanks Robbie and crew for a great ride - Thought it was quick when I got home at 44mile @ 18mph (and that was with my pootling out to Ashwell and home after I left you). See you next time Jamie
-
Vincent - we may be moving back to Thursdays after all as there is limited interest in a U10's cycloscross session.... Watch this space, should know more later in the week Jamie
-
Late notice but I can take a group tomorrow at 9am. Permission granted from Mrs Q at the last minute! Probably take a 38-40 mile route south - maybe with a cafe stop in Whitwell - nice cakes.... See you at the 3 tuns... Jamie

Change of plan for the night time spin around Letchworth Greenway. As we are organising U10 youth training on Thursday nights I am going to move the Letchworth Greenway rides to Tuesday nights. Other details stay the same. - 7:45 start - 2 Chmineys…

Did a recce ride tonight - very dry and fast around the greenway course. The new Felt cross bike helped, certainly lighter and quicker than the old orange gate. There are a few "improved" sections. The track from Hitchin up to Willian has been resur…

29er hardtail mountain bikes were popular amongst the locals. Quick on the cobbles but slow on the tarmac. Knobblies were a must Considering carbon for this year, but a road/cross bike of course, need to see how the funds go... DH - This is the week…

Flanders - now were talking. What about Roubaix.... Get rid of all inclines Much more my thing

Bob S, myself and Bob's friend james (riding for GOSH) rode together today after meeting early. Managed to queue jump slightly from 7:55 to 7:20, but in reality started at 7:50 as everything got quite delayed. Wasn't too impressed with the start havi…

Great report Nathan and super ride by the CCA youth on a longer race than usual for MK. Well done all. JRVM
-
Admittedly the above is a bit too high brow for me! Summer bike is winterified and new waterproof purchased to transform me into one of the homogenised yellow crowd tomorrow. Will be hanging around the blue truck covering the late 17k's from 7am loo…
-
Bob, Vic & John I've pm'd you my number. Will be there early so would be great to arrange some sort of meet up. Blue wave q 7:55 whatever that means?!?! J
-
Cool Bob - see you there
-
Blue Wave Q 07:55 - hmmm not great - the prudential randomizer seems to have come into effect. On the bright side I get a lie in (not!!) Looks like I am few minutes behind Vic and Andrew. Anyone else got a late start time? Have booked parking at t…

Good results from the youth today in St Ives. A very narrow technical course leading to a few spills also, but fortunately our riders managed to avoid these. In the U12's Harley won the girls event by a clear margin. Nathan Hardy was well up in the …
