Looking forward to this - and this time I'll take my own vinegar
-
I think I recognise those wheels - nice job. Once you go fixed you never go back...
-
What an awesome day - thanks Martin for organising and everyone for making it a great ride. My legs are so sore, and the cramp is still there! Feels great to have bagged my first hundred miler, and on a fixie. Role on next year, might aim for the t…

I'll bring a small first aid kit, might be worth someone else doing similar
-
Erm, count me in too
-
I have a pair you could have. Whisper me and you details
-
Hi James, I'm driving down, let me know if you want a lift
-
If you're bringing your own bike then the regulations are here: https://ebookings.leevalleypark.org.uk/docs/velopark-terms.pdf Velodrome track bikes - a fixed wheel drivetrain - 165mm or 170mm cranks with 280mm (11) or greater bottom bracket heigh…

Anyone used the planet-x resistance rollers? http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/TRPXFIXMR/planet-x-resist-rollers

Gutted, can't ride today as I'm traveling - looks like the best day of the year so far
-
I died on a couple of hills but plodded on - had a mechanical (water bottle holder snapped off). Went through the ford at Langley and then on to Buntingford and then back to Baldock, so probably same route as you - just very far behind! Great ride -…

It was so cold in 2012 that I'm still shivering now

Just tried it with j-cloth torn into 3 inch strips and it works really well; just need to be careful to avoid trapping fingers. I ran it for about 2 mins after adding some clean oil; then simply reversed direction and unwound the cloth. It also works…

Retro-fit to better cope with black ice...
-
And of course it would be free to use... Licensing for cyclists soon maybe?

Great ride today. Thanks for the refreshments Robbie. Legs hurt a lot now and all the good work is undone with a large slab of Xmas cake
-
Doable fixed?
-
That and a Rollapaluza mashup would be fantastic
-
Please count me in and can you let us know whether costs will be similar? Looks like more practice on the fixed gear over summer - perhaps the club 25...
-
Nice ride, apart from the rhythm section that I had to bring along...
-
should be able to make it along tomorrow; looks as though the wind (and rain) will be from the south east so heading west initially would probably make sense
-
What a fantastic experience - my legs have never been as sore. I will definitely be up for doing this again. Stef - could you ping the times (with speeds?) I'm still sifting through the photos and will upload some soon Thanks again Geoff for orga…

Count me in And Stu could I bag a lift
-
great day for cycling; eight of us went out to Woburn at a cracking pace, group split at Sharpenhoe - Strappy and I caught a tailwind back to Henlow. I made it back home with 55 miles at an average of 19.5mph; those tri-spoke wheels make a super nois…

I'm up for this; please count me in - but I will be looking to share transport.
-
I'm still shivering from last year
-
I very interested in going (subject to dates...)

Hopefully I can a few less punctures on the way over before the ride this week. Route looks good - Coydon hill up is far better than down on a fixie! Weather forecast looks clear but cold.
