Hi All,
I won't be out on the Saturday rides again until 8th November as I have committed to subbing into a rowing crew until they have raced on the Thames on 1st Nov. At which time I will be slow and require a push.

Well myself Phil K and Jane tackled this beauty last Friday. We awoke in Keswick to dark skies and light rain which got heavier as we drove to Grasmere for the start point.
Slightly shaky start with me and Jane realising that we had lef… -
It was a great weekend and I echo the good event organisation, much better than they were at Chiltern 100. NIce having closed roads but I did however meet a young lad in a fiesta driving the wrong way up the course. He looked very shocked and was r…

Excellent fun, thanks for easing the pace back for me towards the end. I struggled to sleep when I got home, must have needed more hydration at the tuns as well.

Hi Shaun,
If I could borrow your light that would be great. I looked at various shops whilst in London today but none had any stock. If you email me your address I could come and pick it up tomorrow evening. mhillier@savills.com.
I am in for the long haul so see you at the tuns. Any recommendations for lights as I want to save some weight by not fitting my twin halogens and the bottle battery?I am Skelders.
Thank you.
MartinShall we sort out the details at club night next week?Hi guys, the wife is not very well so I am going to have to bail out for baby sitting duties, sorry to let you all down.Have edited Shaun's route cutting out the bit to Rutland from Oundle. Link below, 97 miles. Could trim further if required?
http://bikeroutetoaster.com/BRTWebUI/Course/715101I was just keeping the same pace set by Robbie and Skelders. A steady ride back with Robbie with a cafe stop in Ridgemont.I am in for la Marmotte as well as Milan - San Remo. Come on 2015.I hope to be able to join for a couple of hours, but have to get back for Henry's 2nd birthday party.I don't think I have ever been so wet on a bike. The standing waves of water racing down through Esher were an unusual sight and fortunately getting washed two feet sideways is not a common occurrence.
Hope everyone got round safe.I will be there as well.
MartinWill,
They did not send one out last year.Only 3 out on a rather warm, sunny morning. Tom was was short for time so turned for home at Cople leaving me and Jane to head out to Grafham. A slight wrong turn meant that we ended up in Spaldwick so had a do 1km on the A14 to get back to Ellingt…I have entered. I put my expected time as 5:00-5:30.
Any thoughts on accommodation?Looks great, see you the morning. There used to be the Maxx exposure event in September. It used to start at Beachyhead at sunset and was 120km along the South Downs way through the night to finish near Petersfield. I did it many years ago and was good fun, but it's not running th…ConfirmedI have got the day off as well, so see you all at the Tuns.James,
Mine is the same as yours.I am also driving down Friday night, hope to get away from work a bit earlier, not sure how long it will take given it's the Friday before a bank holiday weekend and half term!! I am staying in the same hotel as Robbie. I don't have mobile numbers …Just been to the premier, enjoyed the film with some great footage, a tragic story though.Hi Robbie,
Should be there, will dig out the winter bike I think.Great ride today, thanks Jane for organising and Shaun for working out the route, good to explore some other parts of the Chilterns.
