Only done one ride on this platform, but it was the gorge climb near to Bedoin which I have ridden. The video footage was good and you can see any others on the climb if you want to chase them or hold them off.

It was definitely the best course of the 4 rounds and would be worth a trip back up there as an alternative to Thetford. I must admit it a bit depressing to see the rolling speed difference between 26” and 29” wheels. I fear the 25year old GT i…

Martin - Thanks for letting us know.

Hi Martin and all CCA, thank you for a great night. I paid the pub direct for our meal and gave them my name. I can send the receipt if needed. PS what was the gel flavour, my guess Fruit Salad.
-
Will, don’t forget one bin bag away from dry jeans. Martin - Can you put me down for a Boonen. Thanks
-
Me: Brie Tart, Steak Pie with Chips. Vanessa: Soup, Sirloin Steak (well done) with mushroom sauce. Henry: Mini Burger with baked beans. Thanks

I have booked the day off.
-
Hi Will, I have put the date in my diary, should be able to help all day.

Hi Dan, hope this works. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/29841585 Martin

Excellent fun, I am gradually raising the level of my lawn with all the mud I keep bringing back! I was not on my A game so it was tough to hang on your wheel. Didn’t really aid the freshness in my legs for the cross race today. Probably won…

Just found the results on Facebook, turned out I was 27th with total time of 3:31:55, no wonder it seem like a long time. Jackie - 2nd - 6 laps - 3:16:52 MC 34th - 6 laps - 2:56:06 Stuart 44th - 5 laps - 2:42:34 Phil 49th - 2 laps - 0:51:19 (curse o…

Having been racing cross so far this season racing for 3hrs came at somewhat of shock. Lots of single track meant that things got a bit backed up when the later divisions started. I was glad in had the Camelbak and a couple of gels, but I was start…

Hope to be out for a beer and curry.
-
Will be there for 1100.

Great fun today. Don’t believe Vince when he says ‘He doesn’t go well in the mud on his bike!’ Plenty of mud, good for the skin right? My Garmin stats were 56.2km, ave speed 21.9km/h, 254m Gain. Strong riding all round.

Hi Geoff, your welcome, see you in the morning.
-
Ok, cross bike will be fine and faster than my MTB.
-
Great write up Adam. Sadly I did not hold the massive front wheel slide before throwing my self into the cushioning embrace of a bramble bush.
-
No drink or food, not a great strategy for that duration and intensity. If you watch any of the World Cup MTB races they are taking drinks and gels during their races.
-
I have entered the 3hr one.
-
Peter - No problem. See you in the morning.
-
Sorry can’t do, I have Henry to look after.
-
Hi, not having race this course before is its likely to be muddy on Sunday?
-
Peter, happy to help when not racing.
-

-
Dan, Are the pro jerseys you have the razor or one of the other variants? Also what is the bib variant you have? thanks Martin
-
Although I could only do the last race and Henry the second one thank you for organising.

Enjoyed the route yesterday, and the great sausage roll and coffee. Maybe reverse the route another time. Good to have Jenny and Dave along. I won’t be out next week and then it’s the Italy trip so catch up in a few weeks.
