Hope to be there next week, got the talk at David's book shop tonight.
-
Great fun guys, so nice to be out in the sun. Had to stop on the way back to shed the knee warmers. Needed a nap rather than driving to Worcestershire.
-
Andy, see you the morning.
-
May be Brickhill or Harrold county park.
-
I hired a BMC In Tenerife and found it slightly unstable and easily affected by cross winds.
-
Not this year doing the Tour of the Peak instead and Tour of Yorkshire. I think they have reversed the Etape route this year.
-
Have booked the day off work and booked my lunch.
-
Interested.
-
Hi Dan, Do you look after the kids kit as well? Martin
-
As far as know I will around to help.
-
I have entered.
-
I can't, childcare duties.
-
Can't do this week, have a CX race in Kettering.
-
As my second race I enjoyed it, but not as much as Shuttleworth. Had to start at the back but happy with getting past 22 other riders. I got a bit of tape in the rear cassette on the last lap but managed to ride to the end without it causing a prob…

Thanks Strappy, good to catch up. Only two out 81km, reverse loop past Emily’s tea room, ave 26.8km/h.
-
Hi Strappy I am planning to be out. Will be at the Tuns for normal 0800.
-
As a first taste of Cross racing I must say it was great fun and everyone was very friendly. Having entered on the day I started with a few others behind the 100 of so riders in front! Finding my way and the limits of grip I managed to work through…

Thanks for the company Andy, really enjoyed that. I was so glad I did not have to ride home.
-
Get well soon.
-
If anyone else is interested according to the website there or only 1000 places left.
-
Made it to London ok and stayed out of the canal. The path is a mix of tarmac, compacted gravel, concrete and grass with single track. The path was generally very quiet. I had fitted a bell but I could have done with an air horn for some of th…

Guys, I have a temporary reservation at Bikeweekender for 2 twin rooms which they will hold until people know if they have places. Col du Romme/Columbiere combination is spicy.
-
I favour the Bikeweekender, because the chalet is only 1.5km from the finish so easy to ride back to after the event and if I don't get an entry place there are lots of rides accessible from the front door.

Booked my flights, Thurs to Monday.
-
3 out today, loop out to Oundle, tough in the headwind home. 160km, 29.6km/hr ave.
-
Keen, but don't have cross bike, only a 26" mtb.
-
Hi Dan, Once you get to grips with the kit there should be an Endura Gillet with my name on which was ordered and paid for several months ago but I never manage to get to the club night. Martin
-
I made it back to Ashwell, could not catch you and Dom up despite doing 34-35kph after Richard left in Henlow. Bit of a shame since we rode most of the rest together. It's a club run not a smash fest.
-
I am sure you will because last week was my first ride for months, so without others the pace will be steady.
