Race report can be found here on the East London Velo website.

Well, you know I'm not sure how Newtonian that fluid is. They are very interesting photographs. The wake in the last photo suggests properties unlike water. Good choice of tubs though.
-
Do we need another outdoor track, there's our grass track and Welwyn? Surely what we need is a covered track, ie an actual velodrome. This will expand the useage of the facility to being genuinely all year, rather just the summer months.
-
I wonder which tubs they use?
-
Just entered via the BC web site (13:45 E/Vet race).

I think the pawl/bearing assembly might be one unit with Mavic, from the illustration I am remembering it looks at least possible it was a replacable item.
-
Some hubs you can service easily, for example Campag. I've had disaappointing experience servicing Mavic wheels but have never dealt with a freehub.
-
From your description sounds like the bearings in the freehub. Though a dirty chain is another and good explanation.
-
Gareth, looks like I for one won't make it in time for your race. Sorry I can't cheer you guys on. By the way, please remember that there have been some thefts from Hog Hill, so do take care of your equipment. Daniel
-
Well done Gareth, go for it!
-
Good call Gareth. When is your squad racing? We've got Juniors and others racing in 13:00 and 14:30 Daniel
-
Okay John, understood. Let's go with the Afternoon Blue Train. Daniel
-
Great results, well done to all who took part and many congratulations to the medal winners.
-
Applications open on June 1st...
-
I may have illumination issues.
-
Shelton, just want to re-inforce what John said; we're not going to leave you high and dry. Daniel
-
That decides it Martin - I'm coming out on tomorrow's ride to say hello to you.
-
There's the last of the SERRL races at Gravesend Cyclopark on the Sunday.
-
Last year the Phoenix was £12 - no nonesense wonderful sportive. It's how I like 'em!
-
Stef, I've done the same as you! Last year was a blast riding as a squad and 'eating up' those miles. Effectively sportives are long time trials and if you ride together they are team time trials.
-
Come on Skelders, enter the Chiltern 100! It will be great to have you in the train.
-
My post above is a straightforward question, I am not proposing that I organise a ride along the same route as the Chiltern 100 at another time (although of course someone else could). I was interested to get a discussion going on why people choose …
-
Why do we want to ride this as a sportive? Can we not just ride the route one Sunday?
-
Clear as mud.
-
Shelton, It is misleading as the BC rider cat is 'Vet 40-49, Vet 50+', but the race title is something else. However if you were a lady, or could become one, it would help the ladies team who seem to have lost Lindsey for the time being. Come on, …
-
Shelton are you eligable to ride the 11:45 race? LINK Daniel
-
Brilliant. Great memories too.
-
What about the, er hmm, 'over 12s'? I'm planning on going. John? Mark? Tim? Stuart? Yourself Shelton? Daniel
-
Nice video Mark. I was in the pits the whole time, so never saw the rest of the course. In many ways glad I didn't; looks really though! Makes me appreciate the rider's efforts even more. Many congratulations to Noah, John and Jackie. Daniel
