Good luck with your new team Jenny. You have contributed an enormous amount to this club and we are enormously grateful. Thank you. "You can leave CCA, but CCA never really leaves you"! I look forward to seeing you at races, training sessio…

Well Grafham could be characterised as having 'Death Ditch'. Whilst there has been discussion in the past about bunny hopping this I think no one has attempted to do so. Do look down though as Boris might be laying there!
-
Last year I crashed really hard turning right off of the beach. There are plenty of straights at Grafham, but enough corners.
-
Congratulations testers! This is a really fine result for the club.

Spunds great. I have been trying to build Whernside this afternoon, so training is definately on my agenda. Regrouping is an important principle though!

Looking forward to this Ben!

Two of us, Geoff and myself, re-did the G Ride route today. We both did the full fat version, including the extra loop from Dunton. I started from Letchworth calling in on Ashwell, before picking up Geoff at Luffenhall. He then did the Letchworth …

Ambleside Sports really is a delightful and special occasion. A local sports day set in the heart of the Lake District with all the atmosphere of a village show but without the sheep and The Morris. There was however a sizeable brass band, several …

Here's a link to the GPX file for the route. About 90 miles. I have cut out the first part to Letchworth making a bee line for Luffenhall. ROUTE

Just bringing this to the top. I will do this ride, but if there are only a few of us then there is no need for the car with a boot full of lunch, we can just stop at a cafe. I'll post a link to the route next week. So far Geoff might be availab…

Looking forward to this Geoff. I think Dave was planning on coming too.
-
Yup, I will be there for as close to 18:30 as I can. Agree, riders should be riding. See you there Andy.
-
I can be there as well. I will arrive "from across the fields" by bike so best not post me on some corner at the far end of the course!

Just three out this morning, Geoff, myself and Ben. Geoff looking great in brand new CCA kit. It did rain last night and the ground was a bit muddy. A seemingly innocuous looking bit of ground took Geoff down though before we reached Baldock. Ben…

Hopefully this is a link to the ROUTE We will leave at 09:00 from the 3 Tuns. If you post here that you will be coming we will wait a while for you. See you Sunday!

Looks incredible!

A wonderful evening; who knew Monday's could be this good? Many thanks to Mark, Stevie, Stef, Andy and the commentating prince Archie.

Late change of plan, I should see you there at 09:00

Me too

CCA were represented by 5 members at the first Gritfest last year; this time our camp comprised 18 people. James D, Vince, Steve J, Archie, Iain, Ben, Dave, Richard, Andrew L, Sam, Peter, Thomas, Robert, Stevie, Mark, myself, Theo and our good frien…

I keep re reading this post to check it really says "326km and 5139m". That is a MASSIVE day out. Congratulations Martin. Did you climb Rosedale Chimney in the big ring?
-
Looks great Mark. I have, however, entered Plomsgate Grass Track that day.

Andy, I would be delighted to help. When do I need to be at Guilden? Daniel
-
I am so doing this! Daniel

Were you running your tyres tubeless Will? I might be slightly sunburnt. My legs are sore and I am very tired. A great day. Thanks to all, especially Mark. Great to meet some more St Neots riders.
-
What a great day! Loads of people and top racing. Amazing.

Thanks Richard, a great Roman adventure.
