Well done Ian, well deserved win and an inspired selection with real courage to omit Sagan, Contador, Cavendish and Froome. Who would have thought that Van Garderen would actually walk the walk.
-
Do we need to wire funds, or is cash on the day the way forward?
-
I'd love to but this house moving business is stupidly time consuming
-
Ah, that's three I've lost then
-
So when are we sending our WT order out? Any idea on pricing?
-
That's an awesome trophy Matt! I've lost two so far, yesterday hurt. Ian is in a really good place, I reckon he might edge it. @Theo - never mind Valverde, he's going to do well, but Daryl Impey?
-
Well done Noah. As you know at this level everyone is so on it, that having a crash early on puts you at a massive disadvantage. Well done for hanging in there and getting on the board, these kind of races are character building!
-
Lovely pics thanks for sharing. Was great to see so many Ashwell out yesterday.
-
Thanks to time keepers and pusher's offers, and special thanks to JMac for waving me through Wrestlingsworth junction in double quick time.
-
I just had a look at the records page Martin, and you're missing Justyn Layne's 19:48 from F20/10, posted on 12th June I believe. Some great times being posted this year for sure.
-
Definitely, thank you Stef. No need for equipment, now have my own Will do the doodle too. Edited: to say that I just noticed that the doodle is only for those who need equipment.
-
Lovely evening out, apart from the pain of course, thanks to all who took part and specially those who helped organise. Special thanks to Tim for the recovery beverage!
-
I can only juggle three though...
-
Haha, I should have seen that coming. I meant an appropriate bike.
-
Blinking 'eck BRCC have 25 entries already against our five! If it is a numbers game we need to mobilise! I don't have a bike and I'm doing it...
-
Thank you Theo. It's equally great to see the road section going well, despite it not yet being cyclocross season
-
Well done James and Richard. You have earned it!
-
I don't know about you guys, but I'm black and blue all over. Come and ride your mountain bike they said, it will be fun they said... Roll on autumn.
-
The forecast is improving by the hour. Looking quite sunny with maybe the occasional shower.
-
I'm in.
-
Fair play to him if he can wind that up to 30 mph
-
I have created another with the alternative start point. Not a lot of Garmin users on grass track so far, but KOM to a certain Joseph Warren with a flying lap of 26 seconds. At nearly 30 mph that's fairly rapid.
-
From talking to Tim last night, this was clearly a massive success for the organisers so get your entry in early for next year! Lovely write up guys.
-
Was great fun. Felix - you guys were getting some serious AIR on the lumps!
-
Yes that's very good analogy Martin. I have my grass bike at work with me, so am crossing fingers and toes.
-
Good footage but somehow totally missed the crash that brought down Cav and Goss and stopped most of the bunch. I'm guessing this is Degenkolb's lead out footage?
-
Sounds like a great ride, but I'm already triple booked for the 28th Would be very interested in doing this either before September, or next year.
-
Aim to be there. What's the deal with access if I get there a bit early? Can I hop gate and start warming up? Will have own bike.
-
My brain even less engaged - forgot I was babysitting Tuesday. Monday could be good for me. Thursday a possible...
-
I'd be up for this next Tuesday. Need to get my new bike shaken down for the CCA champs
