A provisional will be fine to race but you won't get BC ranking points. You will get Eastern League points which count towards the overall league but not national ranking points. These are only really relevant if you want to enter the national champs…

Brilliant, well done Martin. I may be able to sweep up some leftovers for you.
-
I can help out tonight if it's not too late.
-
I'm in! Anyone else?
-
Just a quick message for those who may have not received the Marshalls Briefing Pack or my email. Could all marshalls who are down for the morning please meet by the event control tent at 9.40 and those in the afternoon meet in the same place at 1.4…

Thanks for all the offers of help. Richard - Come down as early as you can from about 8.30ish to help with set up. Look for myself or Jamie and we'll find you something to do. That goes for anyone else who can help with set up EDIT - Just learnt tha…

At present as a club we have not been able to muster enough volunteers for us to safely run this event. Currently once other roles such as judging, sign on and gear checking have been taken in to consideration we have only 5 marshals for each shift. …

Yes please Andrew, that would be great. Thanks.
-
Bringing this to the top with just under two weeks to go. We are still a fair bit short of volunteers needed to run this event, especially in the morning. Please sign up on the doodle poll above if you can help. Steve Kirtland-you have offered to …

Yes, I should say I've applied to enter the lottery. I've been unsuccessful before too. Hopefully I'll get lucky this time.
-
Thanks for those who have already volunteered. Unfortunately I put the wrong times on the poll, the afternoon slot was showing 2-4 instead of 2-6. For those who have already volunteered and can't do 2-6 please let me know. Thanks

I can't make this Tim, had a little off on the Hell of St Neots yesterday and have a sore shoulder that I need to rest up.
-
Thanks for inviting us on this ride Simon. 3 CCA riders braved this event, myself, Richard and Vincent. More Tour of the Cornfields than G-Ride I'd say with many of the sectors used on various editions of that ride. A few different types of bikes on…

Joe and I went to watch this race and when I saw Spirit were racing I looked out for Cam thinking he may have been riding. We gave him a few cheers as he passed us, even if he didn't know who was cheering him along. The race passes through the villag…

No online entries Richard, you need to download a standard track event entry form from the BC website and post it with a cheque to Max, or as Tim says, bring it down to the youth training session on Thursday. Max will have blank forms there too no do…

I should be up for this. I need to be back home by 3 so may not stop and press on if anyone else wants to do this. Will you be releasing a GPS file with the final route instructions? Will a cross bike with road tyres get me the extra style marks??
-
Whispered you Jeremy.
-
I'll take the shorts please Andy, assuming they're the same fit as the TMG skinsuits.
-
Good luck tomorrow Adam. We were over at Carrefour de L'Arbre yesterday to watch the teams recceing the course. Looking dry for now. Went for a little ride over the cobbles and forgot just how brutal they are on the body and bike.

Milton Keynes also run a midweek series on Wednesday evenings. It runs for 10 weeks starting April 13th with BC racing for U10-U16 and Go-Ride racing for U8s and U6s or any U10/12 who don't feel confident enough to enter the main race. This is a lot…

I'll take the mech please.
-
Stuart, I think he means you can't use grass track tyres. It's not an issue for most but some people have tubs for grass track so can't change their tyres over for hard track.
-
I'm happy to help out. Timekeeping, pushing off or marshalling, whatever needs doing.
-
Jon was using Challenge Strada, a 25mm tyre and I was using Challenge Strada Bianca, a 30mm tyre. Jon had lots of punctures and I had none. No punctures either all the way round Paris Roubaix last year either. Hopefully Jeremy has bought the right o…

Very good Robert. The picture speaks a thousand words 'File treads, what was I thinking?'
-
Great results everyone and a fair few league medals won too. We also got 2nd in the team competition. The senior club champs was great fun. Well done to those that raced twice and very well done to Stuart. He put over 30 seconds in to us on one lap …

There's so much road I might even take some slicks. The steps are just above the T of 4x4 Track. Turning left at the top which is different to the Trophy race.
-
Bit of rain forecast for Sunday morning, otherwise definitely file treads. I'll be taking a whole quiver of different tyre choices!
-
I'll be there. Same tyres as last year. No punctures, probably jinxed it now.

It's very slippery at MK. Here's a little video, John's in it!
