Yes no problem, let me know when and where you want me to bring them.

Hi Mitchy, I don't have a jersey to sell but if you have no success in getting a second hand one then Sallie is the lady to talk to for youth kit. It's very reasonably priced. I assume you are taking your daughter to MK on the 7th. We'll be there t…

I'm definitely in for this too. 30c Challenge Strada Bianca tyres already fitted to my cross bike in readiness.
-
Evan's very welcome to be the third member. Mark L isn't going to be there and I don't think there's any other U10s that do any Eastern league events.
-
This has now been confirmed as going ahead. Samuel and Joseph will be forming an Under 10 team with space for one more if there's anyone who wants to join. Best 2 to count with all 3 getting medals. I haven't heard anything about Under 12 teams. Y…

I was told that by someone from Colchester but I don't think it's correct. Hopefully 80 odd will be enough. 40 in the Vets/Seniors race is enough to make a race of it.

Yes Stuart on FB, here it is for those who don't do it. Important Announcement End of season Madison, Awards & AGM. Please note that following discussions with the Organiser and the League officials we will be discussing tomorrow the viability …

Results now in for this, very speedy by central league standards U10 4 - Samuel Quiggin 7 - Joseph Hadsley 9 - Ethan Storti U12 6 - Nathan Hardy U14 girls 3 - Sophie Lewis Senior 46 (and not last) - Mark Constable Vet 40 25 - David Hadsley 26 -…

Entered. Let's hope Eastern gridding copes with a change of club better than Central did.

Thanks Daniel that would be great. Before 8.30 will be fine, would be leaving about 7 if Joe was racing. Whisper me your address and what time you want me. Have you got enough room for both my bikes, no worries if you haven't I'll just bring spare wh…

Well done everyone. There was a few more confirmed medals too I see from the website. Starting on tarmac, very pro. I was thinking of going next week but it's very far away. Does anyone want to car share, Joe's not going to be racing so I won't be …

Riders starting off their bikes and running from the start, unhooking of brake cables as they were only getting in the way and you didn't need them, half lap changes (thanks guys). Boring field it was but very, very heavy going.

I just bought a bike of someone else in the club for my son and completely stripped it as I only really needed the frame and have all the other bits lying around. Wheels, tyres, 8 speed shifter/brakes, v-brakes, chainset, cassette. Seeing as I only p…

Thanks John, actually I am officially one of us now. First race in blue will be at Letchworth at the weekend.
-
Fantastic fun and a really good workout too. Thank you for organising and I'll definitely be looking out for the next one.

No mud and no bikes to clean after! They're not actually Keo cleats but Keo compatible. If anyone has any spare Keo cleats I could borrow in case they don't work that would be great.
-
I've signed up on the doodle poll, it said there was 27 participants so I hope that's ok and there's a space. Bike size 55 I have shoes which have Keo type cleats, hopefully they will work! Thanks David

Brilliant stuff John. I've seen the videos of the National Champs at Peel Park from a few years ago and it looks very tough indeed. To get your best National result on that course against riders who've been riding that sort of course all year is fant…

Yes, thanks boys. Best pit crew ever. I'm loving the 2 bike strategy, don't know why it's taken me so long to adapt it. Joseph was 5th, a real heavy course, sticky London clay mixed with thick long grass.
-
Our pleasure Daniel, really enjoyed it in there. There's a great feeling of camaraderie in the pits and I happened to be stationed next to a certain masters world champion's pit crew so got to have a good look how a world champ sets there bike up, ve…

Joseph and I will be going. We'll probably try and spectate somewhere on the left hand bank of the main ridge as you're looking towards the monument thingy. Lots of off camber action near there. We'll be wearing a Flanders hat and a big bobble hat in…

I'm out too, see you at the Chimneys at 7.45.
-
Well done John on your result and getting some more points. Hopefully it will translate in to an even better grid at MK, I think you'll need it the first corner looks pretty tricky.
-
I'm riding tonight. See you at the Chimneys. Dave

Very well done Nathan, a great result. The most unbelievably flat course ever. Those people who use Strava in races recorded a lap as having 14 feet of elevation in a 1.6 mile lap. As there were three sets of barriers I can only assume that was fro…

My plans were to just watch the racing and that's as good a spot as any.

John P, David Hales is going to leave the pump at sign on. If you remember you could bring it to Milton Keynes as I'll be there both days. As one good turn deserves another, how are you fixed for pit crew at MK, I'd be happy to help out.
-
Thanks John P. I'll let David know. Also thanks John, I actually went and bought a cheap £10 Halfords one to use until I got mine back and to take to races in future. It's not too bad, no gauge but does what it's supposed to. Dave

Four of us out this evening, light rain all the way round and ever increasing mud. Hard racing at the weekend seemed to have taken it out of all of our legs apart from Travis who made it look easy. Cold pint and a chat afterwards makes for a nice ev…

Bike's fixed of a fashion, not quite indexing perfectly but good enough for a thrash around the Greenway. I'll be at the Two Chimneys at 7.45. let me know if you're coming or not Shelton as if you're not I'll just ride out from my house rather than m…
