I only have a 500 but will load the route up also. Maybe if 2 people with the route co-navigate a group, we wouldn't be far out?
-
Ha ha, I was tempted... doing the Wiggle French Resistance the day after so think should give it a miss.
-
New tyres fitted, Musette ordered, beer cannon in construction!
-
Thanks Finn and Lucia, Rob for the shove and Richard for the guided passage through the crossroads (Big help that). disappointing time, I blame removing my aero bars! Still, Elsie is coming and gonna knock at least a minute off... I hope!

Headed out east from Royston to make most of the tail wind home. Ride London was wetter but it's amazing how the atmosphere can lift you. Needless to say, there was no atmosphere this morning! Still, another badass badge!

Good luck guys. Will be keeping an eye on the blog over the weekend

If the route can facilitate me getting back to Royston for 12 ish, i'm in.

That's a stout looking bike

Thanks Phil. Puncture must have been a sign to turn around as I got back to Royston with 47 miles (aiming for 50) and at a time of day which kept me off the radar! Puncture also served well in getting me off the front with Martin - Ouch!

Why not. It must be easier to predict than Le tour.... Go to Velogames League Name: CC Ashwell League Code: 20073734

If your target this year was 100 miles and a trip up Box Hill, all is not lost... link

Interested in Paris Robaix also

Which way round are you going? Have only got time for 50, but might tag along if it works
-
Yep. Got me spanners out!

Hotel near finish, alcohol, chips... Sounds like a recipe for a CCA after ride party next year!
-
I would say a condor is more Lotus, and Ribble is more Caterham (kit car esque)

You managed to stay ahead of us Martin L! Official time of 4:09:33 with Av 21mph which I'm really pleased with, although yet still to ride box hill! A few back end out moments on the corners and amazingly no punctures. 6 of us stayed together until I…

Nice to hear a few of you still up for it. Just leaving excel after registering. Wiggle doing a great trade on rain jackets! ! I will have bright yellow rain jacket on in start pen but stripping down to CCA for the ride.

Winter bike out of action, no choice but to grin and bear it... and do a lot of cleaning next week!
-
Car! I plan on earning my badges in the pub after!

Thanks for the replies... It's a TT bike. Headset, forks, stem and lower bars already assembled (thankfully). Have used Park Tool guides before. Thanks for reminder. Maybe I'll use this thread if I get stuck. Sounds like you chaps have built a few…

Thanks Jane, very helpful

Game on! (goes off to ebay pointy hats!)
-
Ha ha! 27:21. Gonna try and ride at least one more club 10 this year on the road bike, hoping to have my TT bike built for the open 10 in Sept - If I build it, it will probably have weird noises too!

Bit too close to my PB for comfort Kevin!!
