The starting point for the Royston to Melbourn ride will be Royston Railway Station. Ride leaves at 10:30

Tim, I will hoping to ride a few more 10s this year. I'm also happy to help with timekeeping / pushing but haven't any experience of either, is this a problem? Will I need a crash course!! Would be good for the club to keep 30 riders each week

There certainly seems to be a lot of animosity out there for cyclists. I was almost run off the road by an oncoming pick-up a few weeks ago cycling through Steeple. When I put my hand up to say 'what are you doing' I was greeted by both driver and pa…

I'm afraid I couldn't make this last night - baby sitting (dad) duties! How did it go?
-
Looks a bit lumpy!
-
John, I cant make tonight, but I will do my best to be there for the 2nd public meeting
-
Thanks for the route Bob. Cold but got me out of decorating for a few hours at least.
-
Well, for all the encouragement, we unfortuately didn't get many numbers this week. Just 6 of us rolled out yestetday, 5 of that being regulars. It seems that half term took it's toll on the head count. Nevertheless, some great weather and equally g…

Just hunting around... How about buying plain caps here (Blue/White) and getting them screen printed here? Might need to get 25/30 orders for the screen printing to be financially viable though.
-
OK John, thanks. I will put a thread up in the next day or two for the ride. See you Saturday
-
Signed. Hope it helps make this change

My computer said a bit over 34 miles at bang on 16mph
-
Yes, seconded. Great ride and a great route.

I think an Ashwell ride came past me whilst I was trying to fix my puncture in Hinxworth. I really do give up with C02 inflators. All I get is a frozen hand and about 10 psi to ride home on!
-
I reckon it'll be doable!.... zip-tie-diy-bicycle-snow-chains Hmmm, another weekend on the spin bike with paint pots for company
-
Great news and great for the country. Will look forward to the ride out to watch.
-
Cheers Peter. Puncture was a nightmare. Co2 broke, borrowed a pump to pump up new tube which split! Was lent a new tube and made it home at 1:15! Thanks Richard for leading us round, nice morning apart from wind (and puncture)
-
I can take a ride out if needed. Hope you feel better soon John.
-
Ride more and ride faster than 2012! Difficult to plan too much with young one, but getting into the mid to high 20's on the club 10 is probably a doable target. Oh, and buy some carbon at last!
-
Can I reiterate the very cold part! 3 pairs of socks and still had numb feet! Nice ride though. Thanks Tim for suggestion and Mark for guidance
-
Yep, I can nav a route. I will have to spur off at Sandon though.
-
Need to get back to Royston early, so route looks great to me.
-
Sorry Chris. Didn't get your post til we got back. As already mentioned the ride split and routes changed. Group of 4 of us did 2 bridges. Absolutely wonderful morning. 39 miles at a little over 16mph
-
Nice to get out again after 4 weeks off! Mud guards certainly paying for themselves already! Very pleasant route in some fabulous autumn weather. Full credit has to go to David for the decisive moment of attack and best lead out man since Renshaw!
-
Thanks for the route suggestion. Weather looking far better sunday than saturday so will tag along.
-
Looking like a nice morning tomorrow too

How did you get on with the Roadracers? Torn between these and the Raceblades. Roadracers look much better imo, but heard contrasting views regarding fitment.
