That's a good point Daniel, forgot the vital information. Lets go for 9am at the Tuns.
-
Andrew, Definitely CX bike, there's nothing technical and 50% road. Mark.

Time to fit your Landcruisers. No shops on the route so I will create a forward depot of water and cake at Hatley Village Hall on the way in the morning. Mark and Stevie Pete G Tim D Richard L Andrew R Daniel D Martin has kindly sent me the badg…

Sorry Jess, I waited at the junction but you had steamed on out of site so I assumed you would turn right at Wendons Ambo and see us on the B road. We carried on through Littlebury Green and then up to Great Chishill. I think we were back by about 12…

Stevie and I out again tomorrow. 45 ish mile route, probably going east to Great Chesterford.
-
That's a fantastic badge Martin. I might just keep them all for myself! Sorry it has to be that day due to work commitments. 4 so far, Mark and Stevie Pete G Tim D.

5 out to Sandon, Buckland, Barkway, Anstey, Brent Pelhamp, Furneaux Pelham, Hare Street, Wyddial, Buntingford, Nasty, Ardeley, Cromer, Slip End and back. Great weather, excellent company, superb cake, top ride, thanks everyone. Final stats were: 2 …

Hi, Stevie and I will be out Sunday. To make the most of the promised fine weather I will design a 50 mile route that includes stopping for coffee and a huge slice of delicious fruit cake at Hare Street. Mark.
-
Hi all, Thanks to Martin's kind efforts, badges will be available for this ride. Anyone coming? Mark.
-
I'll be out tomorrow. Planning to do about 50 - 60 miles, probably Duxford, Saffron Walden, Linton, Gog and Magog. Mark.
-
Yay, work cancelled so should be ok for this now. Do we get a badge?
-
Andy, Sorry to hear about the incident and your injuries, get well soon, Mark.
-
Right I think the updated list is Mark Stevie Nathaniel Daniel Pete G Theo Noah Shelton Travis Possibly Andrew. Weather forecast looking better for Sunday than tomorrow but might be a few puddles!
-
Those should be fine Andrew.
-
Just bringing this back to the top as a reminder. Expecting a couple of Pell's as well.
-
Would have definitely been up for that but unfortunately working.
-
The route is sorted. Some new sections to tempt you with. Roughly the route goes out Station Road, Kelshall, Buckland, Barkway, Great Chishill, Langley, Brent Pelham, Braughing, Puckeridge, Latchford, Haultwick, Ardeley, Cromer, Halls Green, Weston…

Enjoyed that - proper hard ride. Plenty of wind, rain and hills. Decided to take it steady in the conditions, have a few chats and enjoy the feed stations. I'm not convinced about cold, salted boiled potatoes though. They seemed to be going down wel…

Martin, My preference would be to keep it on that date. Later in the month means clashing with the Cyclo-Cross season, meaning all us CXers won't be able to make it. Whilst the original date does clash with the Basildon event, it's not our favourite…
-
Looks like we are all down to start at 7:12 including Vicky. See you there, Mark.
-
Yes, this does sort of clash with the Tour of the Cornfields date. Last year I ran it on the weekend before. However it looks likely that the full open version will be resurrected by a team from East London. I last organised it as an open event in …

Stevie and I are signed up. Stevie's doing the 75 mile route. From the information I have read, we are being sent the start time, but I've not seen that yet. 8am would suit me but I doubt I'll be able to stick with you Paris-Nicers anyway. Probably…

A big thanks to Sue and Archie for being assistant judges, great job. Also thanks to Steve K and Dave H for helping out at the finish. CCA riders: 26th Barron Mendelssohn 31st Jon Chapman 46th Iain Foulkes Carmelo and Will have the full results if …
-
Will - have emailed you with some details for Sunday. Mark.
-
I have booked top finish line judge Archie Foulkes to assist with camera work but any other assistant judges will be welcome. Bring a clipboard, pens, book (or tablet to play with), folding chair and suntan cream (optimistically). Mark.
-
Can't make tomorrow due to work but might be able to do some future Mondays.
-
Sorry Stevie and I can't do this day now. It didn't sound like anyone else was keen anyway. Mark.
-
I need a camera operator for the finish line, so if anyone fancies that role then let me know. Mark.
-
Stevie and I have stuck with a slower time of about 6.5 hours. We won't be able to stay with a fast start and this gives us more chance of finding others of a similar standard to ride with. It worked well for us last year. Mark.

Thanks Nathaniel - also a well done on getting round on 23mm tyres without a single puncture. Remind me Theo, what tyres did you use? Not cheating at all?
