The Grafham route they said. What we didnt realise was this was the new Grafham route that included a loop into Hilton, Fenstanton, Knapwell and Bourn and it was at Bourn that I got dropped by the breakaway group, so trundled back to Ashwell…

For all you off roaders out there, round 11 of the Eastern CycloCross League is tommorow, Saturday, at Redgrave nr Bury St Edmunds - Vets & Women at 11am and seniors at 13.45 - so if you fancy some real fast mud-action we'll see you there...........and what is wrong with central....???

Good luck at National Trophy Rnd 3...and me - i am okay for thurswell done CCA and good luck to Cam and Theo for this weekend at the Inter Area Race at MK on Sunday morning at 11am - perhaps the 'club run' or others could go out that way and provide some support??!!With good weather over the last few weeks the course was a different challenge to the normal mudfest that it can be!
I started on the 4th row of the grid and as you can see in above video got a rubbish start (my own fault! wrong gear…top work CCA - awesome theo; another "50" - good luck to the youth riders for next weekend at the national trophyget a 'cross bike - much more fun !!!
