Virtual club ride on Zwift anyone?
-
Fantastic efforts all round - keep going!
-
Good call David, doesn't look pleasant at all tomorrow. Next week's looking a whole lot better though, so hopefully normal service will be resumed soon. Ah well, yet more Zwifting it is then...!
-
+1 for sheltered after last night's experience riding home
-
I'm not out tomorrow either, got some friends coming round for lunch so need to be back 10:30-11. Will probably go out for a shorter ride though somewhere.
-
Sounds good David, does look like it's going to be pretty warm tomorrow. Looks like you'll need to keep that bike after all, there's a new 'between Winter and Spring bike' category!
-
Sounds good, I'll bring some mince pies and mulled wine.
-
Yep, turbo for me I think.
-
Big thanks Jenny and all the helpers for organising this!
-
Doing the hill climb on Sunday, so will be be out tomorrow but may not do the full route. Get well soon Simon.
-
Me too - either ride or help, happy to do either.
-
Going on Martin's earlier "kwaffee" ride (whatever that is, I'm going to have coffee) as need to back early tomorrow.
-
I will join you Martin, need to be back in Royston by 11-11.30 in time for a family lunch so can't make the usual 9.30 ride. Will meet you at Reed End.
-
Thanks for navigating Graham, definitely a ride of 2 halves today!
-
Yeah agreed, looks like a pretty definite washout for tomorrow :-(
-
Hmmm, not sure if the teapot is going to be big enough...
-
Home made cakes (by Helen) nearly done...
-
I'll put another spare tyre and a track pump and tools etc in the car - when it comes back from being re-sprayed in CCA colours of course.
-
Exciting stuff - new route and a new cafe! Don't know it but looks like it's along on the right at the crossroads near the barracks (where we would turn left for the route) so not much of a detour.
-
Sounds good!

James - I'll run things next week if you can do the signs.
-
Yes ok Martin let's discuss off-line. But re dropping stuff off, the car won't be at the Tuns in the morning so anything that needs taking will need getting to me the day before. So we can certainly take the Crumps pork pies, beers and anything else …
-
Matt - thanks, let' see how things pan out, I'll have a word with Martin, maybe the club can contribute something...
-
I'm in please Martin - and good news Helen has offered to do a pop-up cafe of some kind in Narborough (we're planning on staying the weekend in Wells).
-
Thanks David - agree a good route and nice to ride some new roads. A few more things we found out: 5. There are no dragons after all in North Beds - phew 6. I don't like that wet stuff falling out the sky, can we go back to dry please!
-
About 17 out today, and after some debate we decided to risk Northfields - which paid off despite an early encounter with a huge tractor and some muck on the road. Phew! After about 10 miles we naturally split into 2 groups. I led the main group of …

Ok, so how about we do a northerly route, to Yelling: Ashwell-Everton-Yelling-Waresly-Potton-Edworth-Ashwell (41 miles) http://www.mapmyride.com/gb/baldock-eng/ashwell-everton-yelling-waresly-potton-e-route-37854812 Although of course we should ge…
