The route is here: http://www.ccashwell.com/10/Time-Trials (scroll down to the "Club-10")

Great, thanks Stuart - I will aim to get there for 6pm to open up. Thanks Robert as well, all help gratefully received.
-
Thanks guys - so we need someone else with a car please...
-
I will organise. I am happy to run sign-on and timekeeping if I can have 2 more helpers: - one to setup all the signs and marshal at toll-bar and collect all the signs - one to push off and help at the finish line Where are the keys - at Martins?
-
Get well soon Brendan, that PB is still in reach this year!
-
I'm up for this.
-
Thanks Pete, good ride and a surprisingly nice cafe stop at Wysing Arts Centre. Good to see a full complement of the Bassingbourn posse out as well! Slightly relieved to get home safely, after Alan and I having nearly got mown down twice by cars on …
-
Pete - we could always come with you for the coffee stop, and then split into 2 groups afterwards if necessary. Just an idea, see what the consensus is tomorrow...
-
I also noticed a number of riders coming down towards the finish line in the middle of the road. I know at this point we are in full-on sprint mode, but there is no excuse for not keeping well over to the left please.
-
Thanks for the offers, I think we are ok for tonight, but of course you are more than welcome to come anyway, an extra pair of hands is always useful!
-
Excellent, thanks Brendan. Looks like we are all set then. Forecast looks good, bring on those PBs!
-
Ok great, thanks Jackie (& Stuart).
-
Sounds good David!

I had the same problem but worked after I waited a bit and tried again - route all loaded and ready. Summer bike prepped. Sun pre-ordered. This could be it, finally...!
-
Just 4 out today for a fast and wet northerly loop up via Barrington, Longstowe, Hatley etc, ably navigated by Nat. More punctures for Taff who has clearly offended the cycling gods in some way, but should ace the club's tube-changing competition th…

Absolutely brilliant, all of you, very well done! Love the photo of Jenny practicing her off-bike race-visualisation technique. And isn't that Dave Norris sneaking a cheeky 3rd place on the TT podium?
-
I'd like to join the ride as well, if it's not too late. Tim A

You could try Richard Lowden at the Royston Complementary Health Centre - I've not used him but he does have a regular column/advert in the local Listing so seems to know what he's doing: http://www.rchc.co.uk/sports-massage.php Or Sally Rabbetts, w…

I can help out.

Good ride today: bright sun, dry roads, could almost have been summer - except for the odd patch of ice, bitter east wind and 15 layers of clothing!
-
Actually you can just about squeeze through the Reed-Therfield closure on a bike, I went that way last week. But there was a lot of debris on the road so it is a bit messy.
-
Yes that was a hard-fought 40-odd miles, the last stretch from Bassingbourn to Royston for me was not pleasant at all! Next week David can we have a ride of just the one half please?
-
Yes a good ride today, thanks, good to get back into the routine after the Christmas break - got a few extra kilos to burn off! Hats off to Taff as well for doing most of the work on the front with a cold.
-
Jolly good, I shall bring some festive treats for the mid-ride break!
-
Wow, radical departure from the norm, dude...yes I'm in too!
-
Matt - would like to join you if poss, what time you leaving Royston? Maybe meet at the Heath sports centre if you're going that way? Tim
-
Sounds good David, yes the forecast for tomorrow looks very good. I'll download the route. Anyone for a coffee stop at Bicicletta if its not too busy...?
-
Very well done Stiggers! And a fascinating insight into the mysterious world of triathlon - never realised make-up was so critical...so many questions...
-
Yes I can heartily recommend the rare beef & horseradish sandwich! And the chips are pretty good too...
